    contents, amount of undigested food, etc.?

	In my case I'll offer my own statistics.  I weigh myself every workday
on the same scale at the MRO1 nurses office around 8:30 am.  My biggest single
day fluctuation consistently is Monday to Tuesday.  Whereas it has taken me
some 12 weeks to lose the last 5 lbs or so (based on Friday's reading each week)
the fluctuation, I'm sure, is digestive tract contents, water etc. (weekends are
the pits).

    As I've mentioned elsewhere, I tend to weigh myself a lot when I'm
    dieting.  A 4-5 pound fluctuation during the day is normal for me. 
    The lowest weight is almost always first thing in the morning, after
    elimination.  Peak is mid-day or early evening; it starts back down
    again as I get rid of things without putting more in :-}.

In order to supply some data for this study :-), I weighed myself last night
right before bed, and this morning (after elimination).  I came up with 3-4
pounds difference.  I'm sure this number will vary a lot depending on exactly
what you ate and drank recently, independent of the calorie content.

Goes to show how important it is to weigh in under the same circumstances
each day or week.

    	At WW today, I weighed myself again after the meeting.  I hadn't
    	had anything to eat or drink since breakfast at the before-meeting
    	weigh-in; during the meeting I ate 2 carrots, 1 egg with lo-cal
    	mayo, 3 Wasa bread crackers, and a 16-oz diet coke.
    
    	I added 2 pounds!
