159.1 | Sounds Good To Me! | RSTS32::KASPER | Calm Down! It's Only 1's and 0's! | Fri Nov 20 1987 13:56 | 8 |
| I'd be interested! I'm just getting started, so I don't have a lot to
give away (yet! :-) ), but I could really use some things that would
fit for now. I'm really tired of the same few skirts (mostly w/elastic
waists), but I hate to spend the money at this point.

159.2 | Look good while you reduce! | SQM::AITEL | Helllllllp Mr. Wizard! | Tue Nov 24 1987 09:28 | 21 |
| Count me in. I have the following, at least:
1) several pairs of jeans, varying levels of wear, some almost
new, varying from size 16 to size 10 or so.
2) some blouses, size Large (will fit bust up to about 40, which
is what I was at size 16...) - not real fancy but great with
nice jeans. A sweater or two, same size.
3) a few dresses - size 14 or so.
4) probably some skirts, size 12-14, I have to look in my closet.
5) some nice pants, wool, I have to go through these and see
if there are any I really love enough to alter, but I don't
think I realllllly want to bother with pants since they are
hard to modify.
I'm about 5'4" tall - the jeans and skirts were mainly not shortened
but were folded up.
I live in Merrimack and work at Spitbrook Rd. (ZK) Send me mail
or phone me at dtn 381-1348 or home (will be around this weekend)
at 424-8055.

159.3 | Get rid of 'em! | SRFSUP::TERASHITA | California Girl | Thu Dec 03 1987 15:15 | 8 |
| This is a great idea. Don't give up on it in your weightloss group.
But, this time, be selective. I made friends with a woman who was
one size larger than I am, and we were losing at about the same
rate. I gave her my largest blouses and slacks, which she was glad
to get and I was glad to get rid of!

| *********************** FREE TO GOOD HOME *****************************
I have three dresses to give away.
They are size 26 (on the "Lane Bryant" size chart).
I wore each one maybe 3 to 5 times.
One is perfect for Fall/Winter. It is a blue shirtwaist with a long
skirt. Real, functional buttons all the way down the front. Nice
material (can't remember what it is). Dry Clean only. Was $120.
Nice for work, but shows serious cleavage -- I used a pin...
Other two are light polyestery stuff for Spring/Summer:
-- One is black and white leafy print with pleated skirt.
-- The other is VERY NICE 2 piece, white with small red and navy blue
print of dots and triangles (sounds goofy but very pretty). Skirt
is long and straight. Top has 3/4 length sleeves, white "linen" collar
at the deep V neck, and a couple buttons on the back. Very nice with
white nylons and red pumps in Spring!!
Send mail if you are interested. I'd hate to just chuck these away!

159.5 | Men's pants to a good home | TOOK::GEISER | | Fri Jun 15 1990 13:28 | 17 |
| This hasn't gotten any action in a while, so I'm wondering if this
will be of interest to anybody. Here goes...
I have a bunch of MEN's pants that are 36-38" waist and 30-32" inseam.
There are 15-20 pairs of pants ranging from brand new jeans and dress
pants to some older faded cords. They are free to a good home. I'd
really like to see someone get some use out of them, and I can't find
a GoodWill place around.
I work in Littleton, MA. Send mail to me at
