4 ounces ground veal
1 TBLS Lite Ketchup
3 slices Dill pickle chips
1 teas grated onion
1 hamburger roll

Shape veal into a patty and broil.  Place cooked patty on a Hamburger roll. 
Add pickle, grated onion and ketchup.

Yield: 1 Lunch Serving Calories: 323 (as opposed to McDonalds 
QuarterPounder equaling 420 calories)

			POCKET ROLL

3 ounces shrimp
1 TBLS grated celery
1/4 C shredded cabbage or lettuce
1-2 TBLS soy sauce
Dash onion powder
1 ounce pocket bread

Combine shrimp, celery, cabbage (or lettuce) and onion powder and toss 
lightly.  Stir Fry in non-stick pan over moderate heat until cabbage or 
lettuce is softened, stirring constantly.  Stir in Soy Sauce.  Add mixture 
to pocket bread.  Wrap in aluminum foil and bake in oven for 10 minutes.

Yield: 1 lunch servng  Calories 222

			DIET FOO YOUNG

2 eggs beaten
1/2 C bean sprouts
1/4 C chopped celery
1/4 C chopped green pepper
1 TBLS grated onion
1/4 C mushrooms, fresh chopped
2 TBLS soy sauce

Combine eggs, bean sprouts, celery, green pepper, grated onion, and 
mushrooms.  Pour into small pre-heated non-stick fry pan.  Cook over low 
heat until both sides are golden brown.  Sprinkle with Soy Sauce

			MOBY DIET

3 oz cooked Haddock
1 ou American cheese
1 hamburger roll, split

Wrap Haddock in aluminum foil and heat in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.  
Remove from oven and place heated haddock on one half hamburger roll and 
top with the cheese.  Place other 1/2 of the roll on top.  Wrap roll in 
foil and return to oven for 10 minutes or until cheese melts.

Yield: 1 Dinner serving  Calories: 312

2 oz cooked chicken breast (cut in 1" x 2" strips)
1 egg beaten
2 TBLS seasoned bread crumbs (1 bread unit)
3 TBLS Lite BBQ sauce

Dip chicken breast strips in beaten egg.  Roll strips in bread crumbs.  
Place chicken pieces on broiler pan about 1 inch apart.  Broil on both 
sides until golden brown and heated throughout.  Serve with BBQ sauce.

Yield: 1 lunch serving

1 oz cooked ground veal or turkey
1/2 C shredded lettuce
1/2 oz American cheese, shredded
1/4 C diced tomatoes
1/4 C diced onion
1 Taco Shell

Place shredded lettuce, tomatoes and onion in Taco shell.  Add veal or 
turkey.  Top with shredded cheese.  Place under broiler until cheese melts.

Toast English muffin.  Cook egg in non-stick fry pan.  Place cooked egg on 
top of English muffin.  Add ham and top with American cheese.  Place muffin 
under broiler until cheese melts.

1 envelope choclate skim milk powder
1/4 C water
1 teas vanilla extract
3 ice cubes

Blend water and skim milk powder in blender until smooth.  Add vanilla 
extract.  Add ice cubes one by one and blen until smooth.  Pour into 10 
ounce glass.

Yield: 1 serving

			DUNK 'N DIET

3 med apples
3 eggs, beaten well
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp extract of your choice
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2 packets artificial sweetener
1-1/2 C unprocessed bran
vegetable pan spray

Core apples and chop in food processor or by hand.  Add rest of ingredients 
except bran and beat well.  If using food processor it is not necessary to 
beat eggs before.  Add bran and mix well.  Divide mixture evenly into 12 
capacity muffin tin.  Bake in 400 degree oven for 20 minutes.  Refrigerate.

Yield: 12 muffins  Calories: 1 muffin, 72

			DIET HUT PIZZA

1 oz pocket bread
1/2 C plain spagetti sauce
1/4 C diced onion
1/4 C diced green pepper
1/4 C diced mushrooms
3 oz mozzarella cheese, (part skim milk), shredded

Split pocket bread in half.  Spread spagetti sauce evenly over each half.  
Top each half with the diced onion, green pepper, and mushrooms.  Add 
cheese evenly.  Bake in 400 degree oven until the cheese is bubbly 
and lightly browned.

Yield: 1 lunch serving  Calories: 481

                         STRAWBERRY ALBA SHAKE
    
    1 packet vanilla ALBA
    1/2 c. COLD diet cream soda
    3 ice cubes
    1 c. frozen strawberries
    
    Mix the ALBA, the cream soda, and the ice cubes in a blender as
    directed on the ALBA package.  Add the frozen strawberries, a few
    at a time.  This makes a *THICK* strawberry shake (or frosty, as
    you easterners call them).
