832.0. "Children's TV from the 70s and 80s" by VAXCAT::GOLDY (Wombling on the web) Wed Mar 05 1997 15:17
    There's nothing like a bit of nostalgia. Remember those days when TV
    was harmless and fun, there was no sex and violence and we all lived in
    a dream world? Remember those days then with the *BEST* link to
    children's TV classics from the 70s (and 80s):

	http://www.geocities.com/TelevisionCity/1011/

    including links to Mr Benn, Bagpuss, Metal Mickey, The Herbs,
    Magic Roundabout, etc.

    You name it, those shows are there (or coming soon).

    Goldy.

| | Good list of stuff indeed. He must have had no childhood though. I am
    having problems trying to put an age on the author of the page given
    the variety/age of some of the shows.

    				Stretch.

    PS - What's wrong with the sex 'n' violence anyway?

You'd have to be over forty to remember those days or are you speaking from
the child's perspective?
Dave.
