I realise this is not the way to get a timely response but just on the
off-chance that someone happens to look here later today with a solution!
We have a very important document on the hard disk of a failed Gateway Solo
laptop PC. The disk is removable but Gateway tells us it has to be put in
another Gateway Solo in order to be able to read the disk and copy the file
to floppy.
Does anyone know of one of those somewhere around? Preferably in Reading but
we would pay to courier it from anywhere in the UK if we could briefly
borrow it!
We really need to get that document tonight. Tomorrow morning at the latest
so if anyone knows of anyone who can help please call me on DTN 830 3917 or
