I can't tell you anything about TruCluster, but ours has been successfully re-exporting NFS mounts from all manner of Digital and non-Digital UNIX and VMS systems and even a ClearCase MVFS file system. I have heard reports of a problem with AdvFS in Digital UNIX V3.2C, but that was a general AdvFS problem as I recall. We've also had some specific problems with ClearCase view directories, but that was, again, a general problem not specifically related to Samba. -Tom | |||||

I have samba running very well on an ASE of 3x 8460 systems. Runs fine, never had a problem. We do mostly print serving (over 500 printers) but also some file serving. Thousands of print jobs per day, some multi-megabyte files. damn fine program! |
