| One more question (which I crossposted in the Alphastation500 notes
conference):
What is the DMA performance of the I/O slots on the PC164
board ? I realize that this is very much dependent on the nature
of the PCI devices in these slots, I'm looking for the best case
numbers for large transfers, such as would be seen by NVRAM devices
or OC-12 ATM adapters (the customer in question uses something
called Myrinet and gets 117 Mbyte/sec. on a Pentium Pro board,
which I find hard to believe).

Read or write? I've measured 111 MB/s PCI Read bandwidth using
the TGA2 with 704 longword transfers on a Bret (same chipset as
the PC164).
