Hi,
I have a problem with PC Win95,pathworks 32,that's unable to obtain license
from server (Unix 4.0B, PW server 6.1A).
On license log file on the server,there are this messages:
1) Listen on transport=/dev/streams/netbeui failed, status=0 errno=32
2) Poll off client for license request data timed out.
The parameter in pathworks.ini [licenseverver] timeout=2 (default value).
Can this value impact with my problem ?
Thank
Massimo

Symptom: A PATHWORKS client connected via Dial-Up NetBEUI (RAS) through
a Windows NT RAS server can't find a license server or, when it does,
the PATHWORKS servers act as if a does not have a client license, even
when it does.
Cause: By default the Windows NT RAS server will not allow NetBIOS
broadcasts from a RAS client and will only allow connections to the
"Workstation" and "Messaging" services on a Dial-Up client. When
asked by the PATHWORKS server to connect to the License Transponder
service, the Windows NT RAS server replies that although such a service
is present on the client, it is not ready to accept any connections.
Solution: In the Windows NT Registry of a RAS server, set the following
two registry entries:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\
SYSTEM\
CurrentControlSet\
Services\
RemoteAccess\
Paremeters\
NetBIOSGateway\
enablebroadcast = (REG_DWORD) 1
RemoteListen = (REG_DWORD) 2
