Hello! A customer of mine has a problem with catalogs and files in Shares on PW for Unix not appearing in sorted alphabetical order. This works ok on PW for VMS. This problem can easily be seen if connecting to a Share in Dos and do an Dir. The catalogs and files are not sorted alphabetical. Do the same on an PW/VMS-server, directories and files are sorted fine. The problem exist both on PW5- and PW6- Unix servers. Is there a way to fix this? Regards, Per Nordli. Actually the description you gave is correct for the default action of the DOS dir command. Under dos you need 'dir /p /O:N' to see a paged list of entries in alphbetical order. [Posted by WWW Notes gateway] |
