Hello, Customer is seeing an intermittent problem with connections to printer shares. Users sometimes receive the following error message when trying to print to printer share on PATHWORKS server: No more connections can be made to the remote computer at this time. Note that the error occurs when trying to print rather than when trying to connect to the share. If the print job is resent it normally works OK. Customer has not set connection limit on his printer share. Customer only has about 20 clients so its hard to imagine the server is running out of some other resource. Can anyone suggest what may be causing this problem? Server is PATHWORKS 5.0g ECO2. Clients are Win95. Thanks, Richard Walker.

This problem is too intermittent for debug or IRIS to be useful. Can anyone who knows the product better than me suggest why this message could appear? |
