What does the following "PWSETUP CONFIG"-errormessage mean,
what could cause this error?
>This procedure requires a single argument, which must be one of the
>following values: install or remove
>Consult the DECsafe Installation Guide if you are not sure how to run
>aseconfig
SYSTEM: Digital UNIX 4.0, PATHWORKS V6.1 ECO1
ALPHA 2100, 256MB Raid5
There are no ASE or Trucluster savesets installed on the system.
I found this message in the aseconfig-script. It seems that
PWSETUP calls aseconfig with a wrong argument.
The customer sees this error on three servers (all of the same type),
on other servers with the same configuration there is no problem.
any ideas?

| Hi Richard,
Sorry to not give you this information early
cause I'm quite busy at this time.
The answer is concerning ONLY the I18N support.
The workaround I gave you on previous note on
how to support European char. with accent lets
appear this problem.
You have probably set the locale variable to german
(LANG=.....) and a bug with "tr" command breaks the
Pathworks scripts.
Just unset the locale variable in your shell environment
before the upgrade and it will work fine.
(You do not need to modify the lanman.ini)
I'll update the previous note asap.
We would explain it on the Release note for the next version
6.1a (which does not yet fully support the I18N )
Sorry again
Jean-Pierre
