    Hi all,
    
    We have a "performance netbeui problem" at customer site that it could be 
    related with similar problems referenced into this conference.
    
    Customer configuration is:
    
    Server: Dunix 3.2c
    	    Pathworks for Dunix 5.0G Eco#1
    	    Transports: NETBEUI & TCP/IP
    
    Clients: Windows-95
    	     Transports: NETBEUI & TCP/IP
    	     different NIC card models
    
    
    
    >> PROBLEM:
    
        Worst slow performance detected when file copies from file Server 
        share to Clients. 
        The clients copy files about 1-5 MB from PW Server file share 
        to a local drive.
        We did copy test with the two available transports: 
        NETBEUI & TCP/IP. And we isolated that problem was with NetBEUI 
        transport only.
    
    
    We saw around this conference some topics talking about NETBEUI
    performance problems similar to our case but the clients were WFW 3.11
    not Windows-95. The topics were 1054 and 1366. 
    
    In topic 1054 the problem seemed to be escalated with ZU0100301 and 
    ZU0100334 cases. The answer to these escalations were to update the 
    dlproc.o Dunix file (not PWKS Server file but yes Dunix file).
    
    In topic 1366, someone asked about this file, but nobody answered.

    What is the actual status of this famous perfomance Netbeui problem ?
    
    Is it continue now with new Dunix releases and PWKS releases ? I mean,
    the new dlproc.o file that solves perfomance of Netbeui is included
    with Dunix 3.2c version or which Dunix version includes it ??
    
    I suppose this file dlproc.o is not included in any PWKS Server version,
    isn't it ? 
    
    
    Customer needs a quick answer !!

	Have Patch OSF350-149 for Digital UNIX V3.2C installed.
