I'm running (just installed) PW 6.0 under DIGITAL Unix 4.0a. I have gotten to the point where it can see the Digital WindowsNT domains and shares directories with WindowsNT and Win95 clients using NetBEUI. I'm now trying to add a Mac to the network. I understand that PW for OpenVMS has a built-in file share server for the Macintosh (as does WindowsNT), but is there some companion to this for PW for DIGITAL UNIX? If there is, is there am internal down load site for it? [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

You have 2 options, there *is* no built in AppleTalk server on Unix. 1) Buy Helios Ethershare for AXP and run an AppleTalk server on Unix. 2) Buy Chameleons TCP/IP and NFS product - put it on your Macintosh client. Rgds, Simon |
