| The server sends the message to you because you arein the alert list - not
because its a problem with your PC.
So, look on the server and see who else may be having problems.

| They have 4.1 clients also so does that mean that everybody has to
suffer and see these messages because they are in the alert list.
There must be a way to turn these messages off.

| You have to be on the list (its an ASCII list...) and you have to be
running winpopup (v4 clients can't)

| Sorry it is not v4.1 clients but only the win95 clients, The only user
alert should notify is admin that is how it is configured.Unless you
are talking about another list of some kind if so what is it's name and
where on the server is it located.

| The fix was to upgrade to the latest license bits, this turns out to be
a license issue.
