775.1 | Could V1.0E be the solution? | STKAI1::BLUNDBERG | It's the monster!!! | Wed Jan 22 1997 06:59 | 6 |
775.2 | Case closed but not really solved. | STKAI1::BLUNDBERG | It's the monster!!! | Wed Feb 05 1997 09:08 | 11 |
| Unfortunatelly the problem remained after upgrading to V1.0E.
However, the customer accepted to use the workaround with the
LANmanager share as a solution.
He was also about to launch a brand new Alphaserver as replacement
and he would call back if the problem reappeared on that new
system.
Saved by the bell ;-)

775.3 | It could be a known client-problem... | STAR::COOK | Just say NO to that AccViO! - Java!!! | Tue May 27 1997 14:21 | 11 |

This symptom might be a client-side problem...there is a known
problem (and a fix) from Microsoft. For more information, look
at Q166834 in Microsoft's knowledge base (at the URL:
http://www.microsoft.com/kb/).
That problem deals with lost record locks to NetWare servers, when
using NT V4.0 as a client.
