Hi, A customer has a Novell server V3.12. Now, it totally fails to access the server resources. If running LOGIN.EXE of this server, it says "The program is too big to fit in memory". If using MAP.EXE from other Novell server on the same network, it is unable either. If anyone can help? Is it a bug ? Regards, Son.

Hi, It doesn't sound like a bug to me. I've seen the "program too big to fit into memory" before when a card died, when conventional memory was "low", and when incompatible versions of login.exe or login.com were used. Also consider changes to the client shell or redirector. Regards, Adrian Moore http://cscnw410.stl.dec.com/ [Posted by WWW Notes gateway] | |||||

Hi, These lines continue 2143 note. Now, error "Program too big to fit into memory" does not appear anymore after we tried to reboot the server. But, the server still rejects all accesses. We can attach to the server, but not login... I doubt if the server has any problem with security data ? If any idea ? Thanks, Son. |
