Digital Prioris HX590 (single processor)
DE450, latest driver v3.01
Novell InternetWare v4.11
Novell ManageWise
Can any one assist with the following? A digital Prioris server with
Internetware works ok but with the ManageWise utility installed and
running the server spontaneously reboots frequently with an abend
error indicating that the de450.lan is the offending item.
The fault is occuring on 3 similarly configured Prioris servers.
Cust has tried the above latest driver patch without success.
Before I delve into installing software locally and testing on same
hardware (happen to have one!), I wondered if any one had come accross
similar issue or could give some hints on what to look out for.

I'd be interested in hearing any more details if you can provide them.
I'm responsible for the DE450.LAN driver and have not heard of this
problem with ManageWise.
Please let me know what kind of messages you see during the abend,
versions and names of .NLMs loaded on the server and any other
pertinent info.

Hi Brenda,
Unfortunately the customer did not have the full abend error details
excerpt that it gave indications that the de450.lan was in the abend log.
In the meantime, we have swapped in de500 and the problem has not
repeated even with Managewise running. So for now the customer is happy
but looking to replace 12 de450 with de500s.
