JUDICIAL SEX DISCRIMINATION
LET'S BE FAIR
The Citizens Against Prejudice and Unfair Judges in Arapahoe
County would like to thank the many citizens of Colorado for
responding to their earlier ad. We truly appreciate the time you
took to write letters to us, the Governor and the Commission on
Judicial Discipline. Because of all of the effort you put forth to
reveal Judge Joyce Steinhardt's prejudice and unfair treatment
of men, she is now retiring much earlier than expected. We be-
lieve she would not have made the next public vote because of
all of the efforts our group put forth to get her off the bench.
We believe that she had an idea of the lengths we would go to
at the next election to vote her off the bench. Also, it was less
humiliating to retire early than to be known as the first woman
voted off the bench in the 18th Judicial District. We also believe
because of the public awareness of her behavior she would
have never been appointed to the Court of Appeals. So the
good news is that probably the most prejudice [sic] judge against
men in Colorado is permanently off of the bench. The bad news
is that there are others with her similar traits still in the system.
Please continue to inform us and the Commission on Judicial
Discipline at 861-1111, of any information that you have on
prejudice [sic] treatment and lack of application of the law by
judges. Remember judges are appointed to uphold and follow
the law not to make and manipulate it.
Thank you again,
Citizens Against Prejudice and Unfair Judges in Arapahoe County,

| I am sure this will raise a few judicial eye brows. Isn't it amazing how much
weight the voice of the people can carry in sufficient numbers.
Now if only we can get the system to understand that NCP's and their children
have rights too, so that not only CP's but NCP's have the right to civilized
existence and access to their children.
