    I would be very skeptical as to wheter your daughter is really
    making the decision here.  Unless your ex has a very good reason
    for keeping you away, I think I'd be contacting my lawyer (if
    at all financially possible) to request "alienation of affection" 
    charges be brought gainst the ex.  Request that the Judge order 
    family counseling between you and your daughter to see if you can 
    work out *why* your daughter is so "angry" (note quotes) with you 
    and see if you cannot work out the problems between you and her.
    
    Something like, "There are problems here between myself and my
    daughter.  I will not be forced out of her life without trying
    everything possible to find out exactly what those problems are
    and, if at all possible, correct those problems".

    Alienation of Affection is a good legal suit to sue the suckers for! 
    Start off with $100,000 and let them see how fast you can get to see
    and talk to your children. And it the ex makes some stupid statment
    saying that when the child comes back and is upset. The smile, cause
    the child isnt happy living with mom.

I'll second that.....

    In the state of Maine, from personal experiences. If the ex runs off
    and takes up residence with another man. That man is up for a charge of 
    "Disruption of the Workings of a Marriage". Hence if the fool has any
    property. Its now yours. Something to also look into if there are a few
    of the read only types there who are in this sit.
