    When I was seperated and on my own I began to let myself go to pieces.
    Partly because of lack of money and confidence. I decided I needed a 
    hobby that provided some income. Something that would be completely 
    different to what I do here. I settled on the reserve forces.
    
    Joining the reserves gave me access to adventure training, physical
    and mental challenges, improved my self confidence and self-esteem,
    provided a set of clothes to wear and it paid me. I was better of 
    all round. Also, I met a group of people who didn't know me from Adam.
    
    I would recommend the reserves to anyone, especially people going
    through some difficult personal times like divorces.
