I watch for any signs of life.
Many of the previously active noters are
a) no longer at DEC
b) no longer single
c) no longer in the area
d) all of the above.
This means the read only noters are going to have to generate their own
reading material. ;-)

| Is there any single lady's out there in DEC land?
My name is Tony, I'm 6"1 brown hair brown eyes and semi dark skin,
the Italian side of me. I enjoy sports, music, motorcycle riding,
hanging out at the mall, people watching, movies, concerts, and I have
season tickets to the Broncos. Did I forget I'm 27 years old and a
libra ? I hope I'm not making a mistake by leaving this message here
for everyone to read.......oh well,

There's gotta be more people reading these notes than writing!!!
Is anyone interested in weekly get togethers - just for kicks? I'm not
familiar with the Colorado Springs area, but if anyone has any
suggestions, maybe we could start a weekly gathering and start a new
tradition.
How about it?? Anyone out there or is this all going to the bit
bucket?

| Welcome, Tony. There are indeed single ladies at DEC. Your challenge
is living in the Colorado Springs area where the ratio of men to women
in the 18-30 range is about 2.5 to 1. You will have to be more
outgoing here than elsewhere in the country. Not a problem, right.

| I mean more ascertive. Getting out and involved in co-ed activities.
Even (gasp, gulp) ORGANIZE a get together. If you send information to
Connie Castine (PEAKS::CASTINE) she keeps the DEC singles distribution
list. She has been very good about passing messages to the
distribution.

| .2: Pat, Thanks for saying that this notesfile is only what
we make it. I admit to not doing my part to influence participation.
I would like to see topics for discussion in the file.
Besides the file, though, we need to plan events: parties,
happy hour, movies, plays, dinner. In the summer biking,
horseback riding, rafting, hiking, etc. might be good.
It seems that summer is gone or almost (with snow today?), but there
are lots of winter things to do. With the stress of work and
3 kids to raise, I sure could use some fun time with LOTS OF LAUGHS!!
So...how about a party? Sat. October 2. I volunteer my home.
There's room for dancing, games, socializing, and even a hot tub.
Maybe some of you know people at other companies who could invite
singles. Would there be interest in this?
How about Happy Hour this week, or a movie/dinner? Any suggestions?
I would like to see us have at least a monthly event.

It's a little late for a happy hour this week, but how about next week,
say on Friday 9/24 - somewhere? I don't know Colo Springs very well
and have never been into the bar scene so I have no idea where to meet.
Any suggestions? Come on, you guys out there!!! So where's a good
place to meet?

here.. A happy hour sounds great or even a party or whatever...
I know of all the social bars on this side of town and then some so let
me known what you all think and we can meet, I'm kind of shy to this
kind of stuff so bare with me.........I guess I've been a loner for too
