| Fred,
You seem to be confusing two different Kennedys.Joe Kennedy
has been granted an annulment from his first wife, which she
is trying to get overturned by the Vatican.
Mike Kennedy, brother of Joe, is the one that was alleged to
have sexual relations with the 14 year old. This case will
probably go nowhere as the victim and her family do not want to
pursue the matter.Without them, the District Attorney does not
have a case.Mike was the campaign chairman for Ted's successful
Senate run last year.

to lock up the women and children when they are in town.:)

| I'm no fan of the Kennedies, but .0 is 'way off the mark, factually.
Joe Kennedy's EX-wife was been making the rounds, drumming up
business for her new book, "Shattered Faith", about the practice of
annulment in the Catholic church (she's offended that the church
would go along with Joe and say their marriage never really was
valid, despite their n children ... can't say as I blame her).
I don't think Joe's present wife (who he married after getting the
annulment) has been making any noise either way, but I haven't been
following it all that closely.
As .1 states, it's Mike Kennedy who's said to have had an affair
with his babysitter (I think he was caught in the act, so to speak,
though she's now of legal age, so the allegations of his having had
sex with her while she was underage are unproven).
None of them are particularly worth defending, and I'm sure not
doing that ... just trying to make a weak defense of accuracy.

| Hope he goes to jail! Seems that the Kennedy men have been cursed with
the big and little head swap. But, blessed with their ability to get
away with 'murder'. Driving women off bridges is also a 'voilent crime
against women.'

The news report was rather confusing. It looked like the same man.
Which one is it that is running for Governor? Especially now that
Clinton is trying to pull a "John Love" on Weld.

| Joe is contemplating a run for Gov. Before all this news broke
(annulment and his brother's sex scandal) he had a fairly
good lead in the polls against the other contenders, but that
has dropped to the point where the race is a dead heat.

| You have to remember thqt any liberal, and the Kennedy's certainly
qualify, will be given a lot more slack than any conservative or
middle-of-the-roader. The media will go to every length not to make
one of their darlings look bad.
lOOK HOW LONG IT TOOK FOR THE MEDIA TO EVEN START TO LOOK INTO THE
UNETHICAL AND PROBABLY ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES OF the Clintons. Even when
they do make a charge, they usually soften with some remark. Also they
will try to amke sure a Republican gets mentioned as well.
Don't look for anything big to come out of this. The press will make
this disappear just like Clinton's scandals.

| If the media was to take an interest in this as they do with the rest
of us. There would be no issue about it. Kids would be with DOR, and
Mike would be in jail. Peroid.
If the system were to try Ted as they did O.J. No question, Ted would
be in jail, or snorting gas if he was not bless with the money.
If the kids who hit and crippled another family were tried as the rest
of us, jail, life perhaps.
Ted and William Smiths case tried like Mike Tysons. Outcome would be
the same, jail for all of em.

Remember there are two sets of rules. If you are a liberal you get a
pass on anything you do, just so long as your heart is in the right
place.
You need look no further tyhan Clinton. A Republican is run out of
office over old charges and that he never pressured anyone and stopped
when told. Clinton gets a pass for similar actions.

There was a lot of "outrage" that O.J. got off. As compared to
Michael Jackson for instance. Granted they didn't do the same thing,
but as far as Michael, as far as I am concerned, what he did was in
the neighborhood of "badness". I heard the boys family got $25M
from the Jackson family to hush up. Michael is back raking in the
bucks "on tour".

| There was no 8.5 mil suit against Ted for killing Marry-Joe. There was
no retrial, no million dollar lawyers to defend Ted. Ted walked, Ted
has great sexual appitie. All those who sail close to Teds shores know,
and Ted didn't go to jail over it like Mike Tyson.
Ted, ironicly, gets to sit on the Morality board that over looked the
appointment of Clarince Thomas. Talk about the fox with the key to the
hen house....
