men kicking men? not so uncommon.

top of the list, here in zurich, switzerland, must be "bash a tamil refugee",
"gay bashing" and "illegial alien bashing".

back in rome, italy, where i once lived, "commie-bashing" was a favourite
pastime too.

.0> What about men bashing men/ or men who kick-a**?

Well, what about it?

In the US, about 17,000 men are murdered every year, according to _The American
Almanac_, aka _The Statistical Abstract of the United States_. The number of
assualts is much larger, but I did not write it down. This source did not
tabulate by gender of the perp, but another table says that about 90% of those
arrested for murder are men.

So violence to men from men is a significant social problem. It is also a
widely recognized problem. Violent men are the primary target of our legal
system, and also the primary target of most research on violence. As far as I
can tell, neither the legal system nor the research has come close to solving
the problem.

Does anybody have any new ideas? Otherwise, all we can do is agree that it is a
big problem.

>refugee",

Top of what list? Do you really think that most victims of violence are Tamils?
And why make a list based on the victim? Isn't violence wrong regardless of the
ethnicity of the victim?

.6> Top of what list?

judging by the press reports on local violence in the category "gangs against
individuals" it seems the raking here is tamils, gays, illegal aliens though
it could be any other way round, not that it makes a difference.

doubt that there are any new findings here other than the well established
fact that men are bravest when in gangs bashing up some poor bugger.

Is there some sort of fascination with male/male violence? When I hear
of guys getting into brawls in bars or beating some "geek" senseless
just because I have to stop and wonder. The title sounds like this is
a good thing. If so, I disagree. To answer the question, it's just
    another moronic act.

Men kicking a** can mean all of the above, all which is wrong except in
the case of self-defense. Men in volatile relationships with other men
    are abusive and violent; the refugee situation; gang members;
gay bashing; women violent towards men; fathers beating their male
children into manhood (worse if its' a girl?) all of it needs to be
addressed. let's talk! this is a good title. thanks.
