| Who knows? At the moment, I'd be more concerned about what my private
insurance plan would cover.

| I am conserned if we will be able to absorb socialized medical care
for everyone. Reguardless if they work or not. Someones gotta pay for
it. And guess what.... the working class will bear the brunt...again.

We are already absorbing the costs for the medically indigent. We also
subsidize those who can't pay and don't qualify for any of the MIP
plans through higher insurance costs and higher costs to those who are
uninsured but have can pay their bills.

136.6 | Mathew Thornton will do PSA test. | SALEM::PERRY_W | | Thu Sep 29 1994 07:58 | 7 |
| Back to the issue of the PSA test!
Mathew Thornton HMO will pay for the PSA test during a regular
checkup if you ask and insist on having it done. MT will not do the
PSA test unless you ask. I think it costs approx.$70 so they will
avoid the test if they can. The American Cancer society reccomends
a yearly PSA test for men over 50.
