105.0. "Snack Time" by VICKI::CRAIG (No such thing as too many cats) Fri Dec 10 1993 14:02

I'm currently pigging out on that Boy Scouts caramel corn (in the
holiday tin) that the Scoutmaster sitting in the office next to mine
was purveying a few weeks ago. Damn stuff's addictive - I'm surprised
the DEA and BATF aren't here flamethrowing my office.

So what's *your* favorite pig-out food? For me, this stuff has
    displaced dark-chocolate Milky Ways handily!

I like popcorn and carmelcorn, but the thing that really gets me is
that mixture of peanuts, raisins, and m&ms. I have to lock the
&^%$ stuff away so I'll quit nibbling on it.

Another favorite "pig out" is Spanish Peanuts and Chocolate Milk.

Hey, that just reminded me of those Eagle Snacks roasted nuts you get
on air shuttles, how there's just enough in those f___ing little bags
to get you salivating, and then they're gone. :-) What a sound that
is, hearing a hundred people chomping roasted peanuts all at once.
Certainly overcomes the noises of the jets, though...

They sell Dove Bars (dark-chocolate, of course) in the caf, and I'd
pork out on those, except at $2.20 a pop, NFW. I'd forgotten those
were favorites of mine. Klondike Bars look sick compared to them,
don't they? The ice cream's too full of air (and tastes metallic),
plus the chocolate covering's way too thin IMO.

Well, for a real pigging out, nothing beats Daddy'snacho chips with chili,
jalapeno cheese, sliced jalapenos and sour cream (washed down with a Sam Adams
Lager.) But that's almost like work to prepare, so when I'm lazy, I'll have
Tostitos restaurant style nacho chips with Newman's Own Hot Salsa.

Other faves are: cheeze-its, potato sticks, cashews (must be salted), hard
pretzels, stella d'oro breadsticks and cheddar cheese spread...

105.13> I hate you all.

Back when I was in high school, many teachers would begin their
classes with this exact phrase, just to establish a working
teacher/student relationship. :-)

I'm salivating, too. Anyone remember the old Saturday Night Live
piece where Dan Ackroyd played an old rich guy with the drool cup
attached to his head? Ugh...

small can diced chili or jalapenons (optional)
(0ptional) Grated cheese and melt in microwave.

Yes, and not its not a topping! Its a base. Instead of the tomato sauce
base, you replace it with the spinach, add the cheeze and vola!
