I've noticed a lot of conversations recently about non-custodial parents and child-support. Sadly, the mathematics seems rather obvious. Its difficult to support two homes on the income that USED to support one. What seems like a reasonable solution is for non-custodial fathers to room together in houses which afford some space on those weeks/ weekends when the kids are yours. Is this happening?

Good Reasons! Both parties know where and what it is like to be in the situation that your in. I shared my abode with a man who was tossed into the streets for the first couple of months that my ex took off. It was good. I was able to share the heart burns, the wins the loss's. I got a chance to share his children. Mine was gone. It took me a month to find her and her mom in Maine. I found FUEJ thru my roomie. I found a number of things about myself thru viewing the roomie. We were kinda like the 90's version of the 'Odd Couple'. And it was comfortable. I will put a plug in for doing it. | |||||

One big concern. That it will become (yet another) excuse to turn the screws on the NCP for "child support". "Your Honor, they are sharing expenses. So therefore they now have _even more_ money to hand over". It happens already even when the "roommate" is an employed female. fred(); |
