| Size 3X, eh? Good luck! You might try one of the "Tall and Big Man" shops,
but they seem to concentrate on polyester.

mmm, do you include Worcester in Central Mass. There is a shopping mall
right across the street from the Centrum. MUST have some 'upscale'
stores. Not sure tho

| Since the request was for "size XXX", I believe it refers to the
size more commonly known as "3X", which is three sizes bigger than
XL. You can usually find such sizes only in shops which cater to
"Big and Tall Men".

| 3X is 2 sizes bigger than XL. At least in my [sideline] business.

Trippi's Big and Tall Men's shop carries a lot of larger sizes, they
are located on rt 9, in Shrewsbury MA, on the eastbound side, just east of
Spags....Forget the Upscale Mall near the Centrum, they have nothing in B&T
mens wear, they hardly have any shops left in there. Other shops are on Rt
9 in Framingham, eastbound side, in the Marshall's mall (I think). Across
from Caldor's....But in Silk, I doubt it....

| I had thought that 1X was bigger than XL, but since I'm not quite that
large, it's entirely possible I'm mistaken.

| Taking a long shot here. What about the Victoria Secrets catalog?
There are very nice mens boxers in there. I'll check when I go home.

| I agree with Vic's reply --- Trippi's is a good idea. The Casual Male
(Big & Tall) is also a good shot. I recommend calling them (remember
the N.E.T. commercials) instead of driving around --- you would save
alot of time. You may also want to try Fredricks of Hollywood (Located
in the Lechmere Mall in Framingham) or even Marshalls, but I don't
think they carry that size. Also, you may want to state that you are
looking for "Satin" not Silk. Most people think satin is silk, but
they are two very different materials (silk is not shiny, and feels like
powder), and I have never seen boxer shorts made in pure silk, but have
seen them in satin.
Also, when you call these places, if they do not have what you are
looking for, maybe they can lead you in the right direction --- Just a
thought,
Good Luck . . .

You mean those aesthetically pleasing women with whom you don't want to

| >Local question... I need to purchase some silk boxers as a gift.
Your local Filene's has a decent selection of silk boxers (great on
those hot-'n-sticky summer nights). Last night I also saw several at
discount prices at Filene's basement store in Framingham.
Frederick's in Framingham used to have them as well. Good luck...

| I had some silk boxers, as handmade by a former girlfriend in the
clothing business. Silk, not satin.
This guy better be into handwashing them; they don't last long,
otherwise. More of a concept gift than a practical one.
At 3X, I wonder what the relative cost of yardage is....%^).
