By accident of course. A skirt that comes to the knee or
a little above will ride high up on the thigh when sitting.
And.....besides, you are supposed to be keeping your eyes
on the road, not rubber necking into cars that you pass :-)

but how high is riding high on the thigh ? some are almost to the
crotch ?
of course i try to keep my eyes on the road but some ladies are so
fine looking they deaerve a look even if it is only for a couple
of miles
i'm not complaining mind it makes a long ride home a little more
enjoyable.
and the do this in my limo's to and i like it there to :-)

| Even a long (below the knee) dress will hike up when you sit in
a car - it is uncomfortable to pull it alllll the way down before
you sit because then it is tight. :) Like men hitch up their pants,
girls will hitch up their dresses (tho I have to say, I've never
pulled one up to my crotch!) before they sit. And sometimes, dresses
(button down ones) will just go up on their own as you drive. A
modicum of decorum is polite, but then again, I never figured anyone
would be peeking down in my car to check out my legs. ;)

When I'm driving (esp. long distance) I don't really think about how
high my skirt/dresses are hiking up. They just *do*. I have no
intention of showing off my legs, but I prefer comfort in driving (and
it's harder when you have a standard and you have to keep "clutching")
and if my skirt hikes up ... oh well.
I never thought about men in trucks checking me out though. Food for

one point in time I used to change clothes while driving my car. To
be sure I was very aware of the people in the cars around me, and I
carried 3 or 4 towels to cover myself while changing. (Not interested

Nowadays the only time I purposely hitch-up my dress/skirt while driving
is during the summer to stay cool. (Only just yesterday almost 80 degree

dress/skirt ends up around my thighs, since I'm not interested in

WHOAAAAAA! Am I the only one who changes(d) in my car regularly!
I just happen to carry a lot of towels in my car, I didn't need all
of them to change. I also did not "hold the towel up".
Let me make this clear, I do not need to watch myself change, I know
how to get clothes off without looking. Most people probably had no
idea I was changing.
Two different styles of changing:
1) pants
Take off shoes. Place towel on lap. Without looking, unzip pants
and slide pants off gently to the car floor.
Next, start dressing myself (without looking) with whatever I needed
to be changed into.
All the while trying to be inconspicious. If I wanted people to
know I was changing I could have made a big production out of it.
2) dresses
This is more difficult and requires 2 towels. One lap and one for
shoulders.
p.s. When stopped at signal lights next to large vehicles stay covered
and wait til moving to change.
p.s.s I had no plans on getting in an accident, I'm sorry if you don't
think a clothes change can be done safely. If there was an
accident, I believe a simple explanation of I was changing my
clothes.
Questions?

It's a truly wonderfully advanced era where women can be
appreciated for their bodies as well as be respected for
their mind.
I'm a woman...I love being "ogled." I'm also a damn good
engineer, and I have the respect accorded such.
I find this note refreshing.....I believe every man that has
contributed here has respect for women....I haven't detected a
single breath of "objectificiation."
And being a woman, I feel that I would probably be the first
to sense it.
Appreciating a body is only sexist and demeaning when the
person doing to ogling has no concept that the object of
his/her desire is more than just great legs or a nice bulge.

Well, uhm...not actually so.
Some men are attracted to men and enjoy looking at sexy men.
Some women are attracted to women and enjoy looking at sexy
women.
It's all a matter of taste which MOTAS you look at. But
sexiness and desire are equal across the board no matter

| Frank, Phil, and Kath, you all have a right to voice your opinions.
My opinion is that this is still the dumbest note that I've read in
a while, and reduces the appreciation of the opposite sex to its
most idiotic level.
Frank is basically saying "Come on, ladies, show off your bodies to
me and give me a good time." It furthers the objectification of
woman by seperating one part of their physique from the rest of
their person, and is therefore sexist, in my opinion.
It is the verbal equivalent of a wet T-shirt contest, or mud-wrestling,
which to me is a demeaning activity to women, or men.

I was getting the feeling (maybe incorrectly) that you felt the note
was completely inappropriate for a work environment because men were
making comments on women's physical attributes (depite the fact that
they were being made in what most feel to be a non-sexist way).
Sorry it upsets you, that's all.

I understand now how you interpret what Frank is saying.
However, I interpret it as "ladies, just thought I'd let you
know your beauty is admired and appreciated"
Let's agree to disagree.

well the best way to find out what frank meant was to ask frank?
okay lest di that. hey frank whats the story?
and frank will answer. this was not meant to be sexist in any way
just a topic to discuss in general what do these guys think i do
drive along side them for 10 miles ( no really 5) its just a casusl
look out the window at the passing car and being in a four wheel drive
i can see in the car better than the people in cars.
course the people in cars can look at each and see them picking their
noses and thats okay. anyway being the high after the CASUAL glance
my thought is sometimes boy she has nice looking legs or boy she
looks nice.if thats sexist well put me in my grave.
as for me being in a motorcycle club i was also a boyscout but the must
have screwed up as i went to be a big bad bigger. i was also a bouncer
at a night club. and now i have coached little league for eight years
i'm also a member of the elks but since i was a member of a motorcycle
club i guess i'm just some kind of scum to you all i know
is last year i made $48000 so if i'm the degenerate you say i am at
least i am a well paid one.
re:62 gagnon
since no one else asked how do i follow you home?
(ooppps i'm being sexist again or maybe he is just having fun
you be the judge)

Obviously someone disagrees with me; she routinely changes in transit.
Save your personal insults. It's very unbecoming of a self-appointed CEO.
