Don't forget to add the "Sensitive Macho Man" and the chapter
on "Ok, HOW do you want me to treat you? (like shit or like
a queen, your actions confuse me)"

| Re .0, don't you mean you're ready to write a "bitter" novel, and
re .1, how about treat'em like human beings - why does the only
choice have to be "shit" or "queen"?

| Lorna I agree with you on the later.....why can't men and women
just treat each other as friends.....seems we lose so much when
we feel we must play games.

That's the default Lorna. I treat everyone as a human being
to the best of my ability. What issue I'm talking about is
the women who say they want a "nice guy" and continually
go for the guys that treat them like shit. Many can't make
up thier mind and can't find "happieness" in the nice person
they are with. Personally, I try to treat people the way
I like to be treated. (and if I don't treat them nice then
I don't blame them in the least for shitting on me)
Not playing the game,

Who Love Them" ?
Something like "Self-Destructive Women, And The Men Who Love
Them "

And another volume in this x volume set...
"Men who DON't have shitty attitudes yet still wonder"
Chapter 1: "Ok, so it was shitty for a while. I came to grips
with that and now have more women friends than I
know what to do with.. How come I still wonder...?"
"Women who cling"
Chapter 1: "How come he gets turned off when I want to sleep
with him? It's only the 3rd date and I thought that's
what men wanted??"
We could go on and on I guess, huh?

| Re .11, so true, so true.
One of the biggest problems in dating and love, in my opinion, is
that *mutual attraction* can be soooo elusive. In my more bitter
moments I have felt that the J. Geils tune, "Love Stinks", is the
ultimate statement. But, luckily I've had some happier love moments
as well, so I try to dwell on the positive. As Tom Petty sang,
"Even the losers get lucky sometimes" :-).
My book, proving once and for all that I was a true victim of growing
up in the 50's and 60's might be called, "At Least I Wasn't An Old
Maid" :-).

"And when you say 'I understand' I don't believe it...
And when you're reaching for my hand I don't believe it...
And when you say you want me near I don't believe it...
And that you're holding back the tears I don't believe it..."
I've been thinking about this a lot lately. Such cynicism is obviously
the product of a flawed psyche. I know this.
Yet, I look back on the evidence of my experience, and it seems
that it doesn't matter whose fault it is -- it just happens. No
good guys, no bad guys, really. (Lord, am I cliched today). Hence
I have this barrier of belief that keeps me from getting entangled
again.

Women have come, women have gone
everyone trying to change me ya
Oh some were so sweet I barely got free
others they only enraged me
Sometimes at night I see their faces
I feel the traces they've left on my soul
And those are the memories
that make me a wealthy soul
Yes those are the memories
that make me a wealthy soul

I know I catch on fast.. I used to not.. It got me in too much
trouble.. (Of course, now that I catch on too fast I don't get in
the trouble.. Maybe that's what's wrong? I need "trouble"??)
