I have a customer who has many Celebris 6200 systems with NT 4.0 pre-loaded on it. He is having to add modem cards to these systems. They already have the internal ethernet card 21142. His problem is he can not get NT or the Celebris to recognize the modem or the ethernet card. Is there a way to change the IRQ on the ethernet card from IRQ 5 which is the default? I suspect the modem card is jumpered to a specific irq. Thanks Ed NT/Backoffice

Why would you want to change the IRQ from 5 to something else? The modem is going to use IRQ 3 or 4. mike | |||||

re: ALFSS2::WHITTINGTON Hi Ed, If there is no other use for the built-in serial ports, then it makes sense to disable them in CMOS setup to free up the resources for the add-in modem. /Bill |
