I'm running a 3rd party application that makes a http connection to a remote web server. Its a 16 bit application and I'm testing to see if it will run in on Windows NT 4.0 for Alpha. The application falls over when tying to make the connection to the webserver. I installed 16 bit Netscape Navigator and this cannot connect to a remote server either - it gets an error trying to resolve the DNS name. DNS is setup OK (32 bit IE works fine). Should 16 bit applications be able to access network services? Any suggestions appreciated. Patrick.
