5962.0. "Problem with AT and 16-bit software" by SU2PLY::CUNNINGHAM () Mon Apr 28 1997 13:46

    Hi,
I am trying to use the AT scheduler in Windows NT workstation 4.0 with
16 bit MS Access 2.0. I keep getting an "application error" message that
references a stack fault whenever I attempt to execute the .bat file
that contains .exe for MS Access. Is this an incompatibility issue
between NT 4.0 and 16-bit software?

                                                Thanks, John Cunningham

Are you using AT from the command prompt or using the utility from
    the Resource Kit.

Two things:

1) Are you trying to run Access 2.0 while your system is logged on - if so
then specify a "/INTERACTIVE" on the AT command line. This is what
is needed to run an application that shows a user interface.
2) Are you trying to run Access 2.0 while your system is logged out - if so
then I do not believe you are going to be able to make it work - this
situation requires the scheduled application to not show a user
interface.

I am using AT from the command prompt, however since posting the
original note regarding this problem, I have applied the sevice pack
and now the problem has disappeared! Thanks for your response to the
    note.

Thanks for responding to the note. The problem went away after I
