5953.0. "How do I send e-mail periodically?" by WRKSYS::CHALTAS (Knigin, Gttin, la mich sein!) Thu Apr 24 1997 14:24

How do I write a script that sends e-mail once a week? On
UNIX I use the "at" command to run a Korn shell script that
in turn runs "mailx". I see that NT has an "at" command,
but I'm stumped on a command-line interface that will send
    e-mail.

I use BLAT on NT to send SMTP mail. It requires an SMTP server
somewhere to pass the message along, though. BLAT is just the client
    "sender" piece if you will.

I am using wSendmail for W95/NT with AutoExNT, in NT resource kit,
to send a message when NT boot-up.
