Further to my knackered black and white icons, I thought I'd try and compare the registry on my emergency recovery disk with the live one, and try and manually figure out the problem. So are there any tools that allow to you comare two registries and list the differences? Cheers, Greg

re .2 Thanks Simon, that looks like it's along the right lines, but it only seems to want to compare a local registry with a remote one, whereas I want to compare my local registry with the one on my floppy! Any ideas? greg |
