I have a Celebris GL 6200 running NT 4.0. I've installed the latest Matrox video drivers from http://pcbu.ako.dec.com available for the system. In the MGA panel I've selected a monitor type of "(Standard monitor types). Vesa 1600X1200 @65-75Hz" but after rebooting and going to the display settings, the only refresh rate I get is 60Hz. I'm currently using the 1152x864 video mode because I need more than 256 colours, but I've been unable to choose a different refresh rate. This is starting to bug my eyes. Any suggestions? Jason Trimble

I've seen this: select the monitor in MGA Panel, save it, exit. go into Display Properties, it doesn't reflect the change. go back into MGA panel AGAIN, select it again, save it again, exit go into Display Properties, now it offers the correct refresh options. K

Sorry, that didn't work. Do you have to reboot? Jason

No reboot was necessary with the behaviour I saw; this must be a different problem. K |
