    hi,
    
    i have a problem during logon on Winnt 4.0. I do not know
    what i changed, but since some days all the items on the
    root device (E:\) seem to get opened by explorer or executed
    after successful logon.
    This happens with all user accounts, but nothing is in the
    Startup folder of any user, also nothing in Startup folder 
    of "all users" or "default user"
    Is there any place in control panel or registry, to check.
    How can i schedule the auto startup of explorer or prevent
    it ?

    hallo,
    
    i seem to have fixed it by editing the registry entry:
    local machine - software - windows-nt - winlogon - explorer
    
    after removing all startup option keys NT 4.0 did not start
    any programs automatically
    
    so long
