Hi,

Is there any easy way to duplicate a color scheme from one NT system to 
another?

I always like to change the default window colors to suit my taste, and
I end up doing this on each system.  ...even for different accounts on the
same system.  

If there was a way to save these custom color schemes to a file and then load
them into another system (or another user), it would save much hassle!

I've already starting writing an application to do just this, but I was
wondering if something like it already exists.

	If you use the pif editor to create a profile, you can then share it across all of your accounts in a domain. This works reasonably well so long as all of the machines bear some passing resemblance to eachother. I occationally had problems with adding a startup item to one machine which was unavailable on another. Also, an old vga only x86 box didn't like a desktop setup for 1280x1024 pixels. Maybe hardware profiles in v4.0 would help there. But I've not bothered to try. R.

	Thanks for the replies. I had tried the saving registry keys method quite a while ago, but must have been doing something wrong because I could not get it to do what I wanted! I'll look into the profiles... Ken
