Might better be asked in the UNIX conference. The only way I have seen UNIX make a dial-out connection is via SLIP, which will also connect to RAS. tgc | |||||

I believe UNIX 4.0 can also do PPP which would connect fine to a RAS server, assuming you've enabled "Clear text authentication" on the RAS side, or MD5-CHAP authentication as documented in the NT 4.0 SP2 readme file. The UNIX gurus might indeed be a better help for tips for the UNIX side. Vincent |
