Is the Kauai an Alpha? (or is that the Miata?)
This is not probably not a problem for this notesfile,
but for the Office notesfile. Do other file associations
work, like .TXT=Notepad.exe?

I'm sure Kauai is an Intel box and I think Miata is, too.

Shows how good our marketing is! Miata is the code name for the Digital
Personal Workstation a-Series (433a, 500a, ...). Definitely uses
an Alpha CPU. The 767 MHz alpha shown at last fall's COMDEX was a
chilled Miata.
Miata (Alpha) and Kauai (Intel) share many common components, including
the box.

Sorry for the misinformation in .2... I had heard the name discussed
in PCBU project meetings and had (incorrectly) assumed that it couldn't
possibly be an Alpha box. ;-)

There doesn't appear to be one.
All of the separate programs have their own conference.
