5872.0. "NWLINK and The parameter is incorrect" by MQOU27::S_SAUVE (I live for the WeekEnds!!!) Thu Apr 03 1997 20:34
I have a dual pentium server running NT 4.0 SP2 with 2 Token-Ring card.
I have NWlink and TCPIP configurerd on both cards and now I want to
route IPX between the two cards, so I added RIP for NWLINK which added
the SAP Agent.
I've defined the internal network number to be 1981001a
The network number for one of the card is FFFFF and the other is set to
19810011.
When I restart the server it says "A service or driver failed to
start..blablabla" in the event viewer it says RIP for NWLINK failed to start
because The parameter is incorrect.
Am I missing something, I've tried adding the Gateway service to no
avail. I don't know what parameter it's related to.
Any help greatly appreciated.
