Even though several people have advised against it, we have gone ahead and installed MS Office 97 on my boss'
Digital Personal Workstation, running WNT 4.0. There now is a problem with the "file association" function,
and he can no longer access ppt, xls, or doc files from My Computer, nor can he access them from within a
mail message in Outlook Exchange mail. He also can't access an html file. We looked at the "File Types"
under view, but everything looks OK.
Does anyone know how we can fix this, or can direct me to someone who can, or can tell me how to get support
from Microsoft?
