A customer is having a problem installing NT 4.0 on a XL266 that has a KZPSC-XB in it. He is trying to load NT onto his raid drive but the system keeps telling him he has no SCSI devices available. He can install 3.51 and 4.0 Beta with no problem using the KZPSC. Has anyone seen this problem before.

Run Standalone SWXCRMGR and verify that the drive has been configured. If it's a single disk that has not been configured using the utility, NT 3.51 and 4.0 beta will install to it. NT 4.0 build 1381 looks at things differently and will not see a singl drive unless it has been configured as a JBOD using the standalone utility. Tom Rocca NT Focus Team CSC-Atlanta |
