5852.0. "FILE MANAGER "OPEN BY" buttom in NT 4" by VAXRIO::PCSUP1::souza () Thu Mar 27 1997 11:38
Hi,
It sounds like a stupid question but here we go... In old WINDOWS NT 3.51
File Manager we could see witch users were accessing a specific file. The
File/Properties option had a OPEN BY buttom that made it possible.
In NT 4.0 Explorer I couldn't find it. Using Server Manager I can see the
files accessed by a specific user but if you have a bunch of guys accessing
the server is dificult to locate a specific file.
My customer is using WINFILE.EXE in NT 4 but he would like to know if
explorer or other nt 4 utilitary has this feature.
Thank's,
Luiz.
