hi,
a client of us asked me to make a study on the migration of unix (different
sorts of) to nt. A lot of packages can be used to port applications.
The real problem is the structure of the data files and its security. To
prevent me from doing all the work by hand, i'm checking if there aren't any
scripts (used with parameters) available that i can use to make these kind of
translations between what we have on a unix machine and how it is to be
implemented on nt ( i think of the account, users, privileges).
Is there someone out there who already made a study of this kind or are there
some links on the web that i can use to get more info ?
