Hello all.
I have installed a MERZ 336 modem and make it work on my Windows NT
Workstation for RAS access by using the Driver Diskette from the
manufacturer.
Everything looks fine except that when I want to set the auto answer an
incoming call to 9 rings by using ATS0=9&W&Y, the modem still pick up
the incoming call immediately (default value). The reason is that I am
using the same telephone line for dial in and telephone.
I noticed that all the setting are OK, the problem only happened when I
startup the RAS service in the control panel. From the modem log file I
found that the system is sending the reset to factory default command
every time the modem initialize. A small portion of the log file is as

I wonder which file keep the initializing file setting ? Anyone could
shed some light on this will be very much appreciated.
