5795.0. "NT remote prints go into loop and don't print" by WOTVAX::HILTON (Save Water, drink beer) Wed Mar 12 1997 10:11
I have a weird printing problem on a Alpha 2000/300 running NT v4.0
with SP2
If I try and print from a Win95 client, then you see the job arrive in
the queue on the NT server box, then it says printing, then a second
job magically appears, which says spooling, that then causes the 1st
job to delete, and this re-occurs for ever, VERY quicky, ie 30 jobs in
30 seconds, until the administrator manually purges the queue.
Any ideas? You can print direct to the printer from the NT server with
no problems!
