5779.0. "Print jobs on NT server do not go away after through printing..." by MSBCS::MORIN () Thu Mar 06 1997 11:10
Hello,
I have NT server 4.0 running as a print server. I have installed and
shared some printserver 32's and have a question about print jobs
staying (still showing in the queue) in the print queue even after
the job has been printed. This server is not participating in a domain
and I have allowed guest "print" permissions. With just "print"
permission to guest the job gets queued and printed but the job never
deletes itself from the queue. If I set "manage documents" permission
the job gets printed and automatically removes itself from the queue
(this is looking at the NT server printer queue).
The permission "print" is suppose to allow pause/resume printing and
also delete. Am I missing something here or is there a bug printing
to Digital printservers.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
