Hi folks,
One customer asked me some informations about a problem :
OSF's system mount the fs exported by WinNT's system.
If customer log on OSF as root and do a
mount /test@WINNT /test
all is ok.
Customer's question is : how may I automatically mount
these fs without to do it manually.
I suggested to my customer to add these entry in /etc/fstab
but when system is (re)booting and trying to mount these FS,
customer get "... NOT OWNER ... ".
Customer informed me that he must give to Chameleon-WinNT the
UID and GID of the user for mount. Customer tryed also with
UID/GID 1/1(root) 1/0(deamon) 0/0 */* but always the same
...not owner.
Customer is asking me with value of UID/GID may solve that
problem.
He asked (only for information) with value are used by osf
when trying to mount another NFS OSFmount point... ???
I search more but haven't found any informations more. Is it
a Chameleon config problem / setup ???
Hope that WinNT God's ligth may help me more than these of OSF God ... 8-]
