I faced a problem on NT4.0 Server, the customer already use the Linux as an DNS server and want to use the NT to be the secondary DNS, I use the DNS Manager to add new server ,but it's error ,the error message at the DNS Manager is "RPC server is unavailable" . The Primary DNS on Linux works fine. Please help me ,how to resolve this problem? chensak

You are probably better off bidding Digital Unix. In any case contact Mark Conway in MRO for info on how to bid this. Don't lose the bid just to bid NT. If you're competing against Sun, you'll have hard time justifying NT, especially if they are die-hard Unix or sceptical about NT or both. Danny |
