Hi there,
I have a customer who recently upgraded their servers to NT 4.0(SP2)
Now we have installed DEFPA-UA cards into this servers which are connected
to a DECconcentrator 900MX. Since there is no driver on the disk, we used the
one from the NT 4.0 CDrom.
There are some 500 clients, most of them running WFW 3.11. They are
experiencing very slow response times, and some of them(10%) cannot start
the Applications (Excel and WW from a server share) any more.
Clients with TCP 3.11b installed get the message "winoa386.mod not installed",
clients with Netbeui get "Application cannot be started".
After some investigation the customer swapped the DEFPAs with 3Com Ethernet
cards and all works fine.
Is there a new driver, hotfix,... to get the DEFPAs to fly

Use NOTED::ETHERWORKS for network card questions.
